Former member of the board of IFDCO.

In 1986, I was one of the founders of IFDCO and from 1987 to 1993 I was as a member of the board of IFDCO. Since 1976 I have worked with family day care, first as a supervisor, later as an editor in-chief for the Swedish family day care magazine, as an expert in family day care for Swedish national state committees and for the European Commission.

My report for the Commission “Family Day Care in Europe” has been translated into six languages. I am connected to the University of Stockholm, Institute of Education, where I earned my doctor’s degree of Philosophy in 2002, through my dissertation on “Perspectives on Family Day Care”.

In November 2004, my latest book was published, a survey of knowledge of family day care, edited by the Swedish National School Authorities.
